This piece was performed by a subset of OINC (Oberlin Improvisation and Newmusic Collective), with myself on vocals, Autumn Culp on tape machines/pedals/contact mic/large chain, and Jason McCauley on Korg Minilogue and Kazoo.
 

The prompt for improvisation was simply, “think about flamingos”, so we thought about flamingos and went to town. This piece uses snippets of a recording of that performance. Fun fact: I was standing on one leg for most of this.
